GAYLORD FOURTH AT STOCKTON

Series veteran Scott Gaylord of Lakewood, CO was fourth in the Oliver Gravity Separators/Denver Seminary Chevrole after qualifing eighth. Gaylord was charging at the end of the race, chasing down the top three and was side by side with third place when the checkered fell. After struggling in the first three races this year Gaylord has moved back into the top ten in the championship standings. Gaylord is ninth.

"A few more laps and we could have been racing for first, but we're glad to turn our program around after a rough start to the year. We're looking forward to the next race at Yakama, WA," Gaylord said.

Another top-five for Gaylord. This fourth-place finish at Stockton matched Gaylord's fourth-place finish there last August. The event marked Gaylord's 150th West Series race, dating back to 1988.

This event was live on HD Net TV and will be replayed on Speed Channel June 10th, 5 P.M. ET.

GAYLORD IN TWO NIGHT RACES IN PHOENIX

Scott Gaylord raced in both the NASCAR Grand National and Busch races this weekend at Phoenix International Speedway.

Gaylord from Lakewood, CO, raced in the Casino Arizona 150 NASCAR Grand National race Thursday April 21st. This was the first night race ever at Phoenix International Speedway. Gaylord, driving the #00 Oliver Gravitiy Separators/Denver Seminary Chevy finished 14th after cutting a tire down in turn two and losing a lap.

Gaylord also qualified for his second NASCAR Busch race this year racing in the Bashas Supermarkets 200 NASCAR Busch race Friday night April 22nd. Gaylord finish 31st in the #7 Chevy after having tire problems.
